INGREDIENTS

(2) Pillsbury Toaster Strudels any flavor you prefer (untoasted)
(2) slices Land O Lakes turkey
(2) slices Land O Lakes ham
(2) slices swiss cheese
(1/4 Cup) cream cheese
Powdered sugar (optional)
(1/4 Cup) Vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS

1 Heat frying pan to med-high heat, using 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 2 Spread cream cheese on one side of both strudels. 3 Place turkey, cheese and then ham on cream cheese spread, alternate to create a stacking effect. 4 Place remaining strudel on top,Place sandwich onto frying pan with oil, cover with lid, 5 cook for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side. 6 Remove sandwich from pan, cut into fourths. 7 Garnish with Toaster Strudel frosting and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

The Counting of Monte Cristo's Disasters
After several failed attempts at trying to make a traditional monte cristo, I was thinking to myself how great it would be if there was a product that consisted of bread stuffed with jam, then I remembered that my son always eats toaster strudels, so I tried a few different techniques with the monte cristo sandwich and now, I have an easy, no-hassle way to make my favorite sandwich!
