Ingredients

1: container (8 oz) cream cheese spread

2: cups shredded Gouda or Colby cheese (8 oz)

: 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

: 1/4 cup sliced drained sun-dried tomatoes in oil

: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

: 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives

: Assorted crackers, if desired

Directions

1 In medium bowl, mix cream cheese spread and Gouda cheese until blended. Stir in chives, tomatoes and garlic powder.
2 Shape mixture into 1 large or 2 small balls or logs. Roll in chives. Wrap in plastic wrap.
3 Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm. Serve with crackers.

I made this for the first time 10 years ago for my Grandma's 80th birthday party. She LOVES Gouda cheese. I found this recipe in a Pillsbury magazine at the check out of the grocery store. It was a huge hit at her party! I have the pleasure of making it next weekend for her 90th birthday party and I'm already craving it! Great recipe!!!
