Made tonight. Very good. I did add a dash of garlic powder. LOVED IT. Will make again.

EXCELLANT,EASY recipe...definately a "down-home" casserole! I followed the directions exactly EXCEPT I didn't have a fresh small onion on hand so I substituted 1/2 tsp. ONION POWDER and a dash of garlic powder(our personal taste)! YUMMY!

followed this, except for the milk on top...I made buttered breadcrumbs and sprinkled on top....great taste...crumb topping was gone before the macaroni.

I added 2 more tablespoons of butter, dash of nutmeg for a buttery taste and used 1/2 C of half n half w1/C milk and 8 oz of cheese, 6oz in the flour and 2 oz on top so the top got crispy brown, I made this before like it says and did not enjoy it till I tweeked it! Family Loves It!
