Molded Herbed Cheese Spread with Apples

Ingredients

container (12 oz) fat-free cream cheese (1 1/2 cups), softened
2
oz feta cheese, crumbled (1/2 cup)
1
oz blue cheese, crumbled (1/4 cup)
1/2
teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2
teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1
tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives or green onion tops
2
red or green apples, cut into 16 slices each, or assorted fat-free crackers

Directions

  1. 1 Line 2-cup ring mold or small decorative mold with cheesecloth or plastic wrap.
  2. 2 In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, feta cheese, blue cheese, basil and rosemary with electric mixer or spoon until well mixed. Spoon mixture into mold, spreading evenly. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours, until firm.
  3. 3 To serve, unmold cheese mixture onto serving platter; sprinkle with chives. Serve with apple slices.
