As delicious as these were, I was quite disappointed in their appearance. I was all set to display them as balls but they flattened out as cookies when baked. They did taste great but wouldn't fit in the type containers I had prepared for Christmas gifts. How do you get them to keep their shape?

Ive made these for several years now. The famous brand Kisses work really well :)

I plan to try this recipe but am not sure about the chocolate candy drops. Where can these be purchased. Any substitutions? Are these like chocolate chips or something different?
