2: cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

1: pkg. Kraft Cream Cheese

1: pkg. sausage

1: package fresh mushrooms

1/2: yellow onion

Directions

1 Fully cook sausage in frying pan over medium high heat. Remove sausage from pan.
2 Chop mushrooms and onions. Saute in the leftover sausage grease. Drain.
3 Place sausage and cream cheese into frying pan with the mushrooms. Stir until incorporated.
4 Roll out the crescent rolls. Press seams together to form one piece. Cut the roll into 24 squares.
5 Place 1 square into each hole of a mini muffin pan. Spoon sausage mixture into each crescent square.
6 Bake at 375 for 11-13 minutes.

Use 1 lb ground sausage for a doubled recipe.

These were absolutely delicious! Made them for a Baby Shower and everybody loved them! They were all gone really fast and I doubled the recipe too! Everyone was asking for the recipe! The recipe says one package of sausage, I wasn't quite sure what kind of sausage it meant or how much so I used 1 lb of ground italian sausage for the double recipe and it tasted great!

One batch of sausage, mushroom, and cheese mixture makes 48 mini appetizers. So it is the perfect treat to make if you have two parties in a row. The second batch is a breeze without having to prepare everything again.
