Heat oven to 350°F. In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Unroll dough; cut dough sheet in half along perforation to make 2 large rectangles. Do not separate into strips. Sprinkle dough with sugar mixture. Reroll; cut into 12 slices along perforations. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press each to form 3-inch round.
Top each roll with 1 tablespoon candied cherries, pressing in gently.
Bake at 350°F. for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Brush warm rolls with melted jelly.
