I purchased a Belgium Waffle Maker for my husband at Christmas. He has tried every recipe that came with the waffle maker. He then looked up recipes on the internet. Needless to say he hated all of them & wanted to box it up. On his Birthday I made him this recipe. I did not tell him anything, I just prepared the recipe as directed. To make a long story short he was thrilled & extremely happy. He wanted me to write you to let you know how delicious they were.

ICK! They came out thick and tough, not light and fluffy like Bisquick waffles. "Grands" biscuits are yummy, light and flaky; these are nothing like them. I will not make these again!

We made these at work during our lunch breadk. We each brought a topping of honey, preserves, butter, etc.
They were great! Fast and easy!

These do not taste like waffles, they taste like biscuits, so if waffle flavor is what you want you will probably be disappointed. They are very quick and make for a super fast breakfast sandwich. Just stuff with eggs, cheese, etc. and you are have a great sandwich in no time.

OK...I am not a quitter. This a.m. I tried the cinnamon rolls in the waffle maker. I bought the thinner ones and ....it worked.

I loved 'em. Easy as can be. They did not taste like biscuits. I did try the cinnamon rolls. Wasn't a good idea. They don't smoosch every good in the waffle iron. Maybe if I used a cheap pliable cinnamon biscuit it would have worked. Still works but you have a lot of doughy parts since the lid doesn't want to close. Love the plain mini waffles....and they aren't that mini.... Perfect size for the kids.
