I have tried this recipe many times and I love it. It is very easy to make and indeed better than Micky D,s. Just think, years ago, if you had a biscuit with eggs and bacon/sausage or anything on a biscuit you would have been snooted, you would have been an outcast because you were eating a poor mans meal. It is interesting how things have changed.

On the weekend I use the can biscuits,Grands Southern Style. After baking the biscuits I place a slice of cheese and one piece of bacon. You could add egg if you like. I then wrap them in aluminum foil, place in a container and seal. Then on week days before work morning you can remove the aluminum foil and microwave for about 30 seconds. They are much cheaper than going through the drive through and you have a breakfast that is filling.

review continued: ....coated with cooking spray or butter, add abt. 1/4 tsp. water, mix briefly or just break yolk. Cover container with plastic wrap, poke hole in top, microwave until almost set…about 1 min., add cheese, etc. Slip out and onto baked biscuit. Easy and good! You can make these as healthy or decadent as you like!

We do these often using "egg beaters" or even eggs. Use a microwave safe container similar in size to the biscuit. Spray with nonstick cooking spray; add in egg mixture to equal 1 or 2 eggs (depending on your preference). Season with salt, pepper to taste. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until almost set. Cheese can be added when almost done and return to microwave briefly to melt it OR put it right on the baked biscuits, and top with sausage patty, ham, or whatever you like. Real eggs can be done similarly. Crack egg into microwave safe container coated with cooking spray or but

My breakfast sandwich is a little different. Eggs are fried with yoke broken, layer of sliced cheese, ham, egg on Grands biscuit, wrapped in foil, and heated in oven, OR unwrapped and heated in microwave until cheese melts. A great family pleaser, and delicious.!!
