Made these appetizers last August, 2012 for a wine and cheese party. Were a "smashing" hit. Everyone, everyone loved them and they are so easy to make, does take some time to assemble though. Delicious ways to make quick appetizers. I am also making these again for our Christmas 2012 gathering. Try them! NOTE: One tube of the crescent rolls would be enough to make for a party/gathering. Makes lots. Enjoy! I have shared this recipe and ideas with many people. :-)

Making this for our work potluck tomorrow. I did the roast beef, the caprese, the swiss/olive and the antipasto ones. I had to try one of each tonight as I was cutting everything up to make assembly easy tomorrow. They were all nummy! I can't wait to see how everyone likes them.

I love the wide variety of appys this recipe makes--something for everyone. What an impression I made with my friends. Having everything cut up and ready to go made the assembling quick and easy.

It sure is a pretty tray but I wouldn't call it a "quick" idea. I don't think that time includes the time it would take to cut and prepare ingredients I'd say do as much as much as possible ahead if speed is needed at serving time. But it sounds tasty and a good recipe for when looks count and if your guests are the type who'd appreciate your efforts. Otherwise, I would choose something less fussy.

These are great, so easy and so many variations. An unlimited imagination is all you need. I used the pizza dough instead of the crescent roll dough because it was flat and I was able to use my canape cutters for different shapes and sizes.
