Made these today - came out good but they were messy! They did not cut like in the picture (came out flat).

I was looking for a recipe to bring to a picnic, and this arrived just in time! These were very easy to prepare, just make sure your cream cheese is very soft before you make the spread. I made 2 slight changes to this recipe: I added cheddar cheese to give it a little more flavor and also instead of slicing them up and serving them as appetivers, I wrapped each roll up in aluminum foil and served them as wraps. My family loved the flavor...very good and unique. Will definitely make this again!

A great ideea for a covered dish social or picnic. I plan on makiang these for a picnic this week end. Keep up the good ideas. Grandmacarol
