I love cinnamon and I could not taste it in this recipe. I added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. I was very dissapointed. Also, the cereal crust was a little weird. Not bad, but not great. My family ate this because we always like brownies. But we all agreed that this recipe does not need to be repeated. It wasn't worth the effort.

Delicious!! The cinnamon and chocolate combination give this recipe a great flavor, and the crust has a nice crunch to contrast the gooey, fudgey brownie. Great job Valerie!

I made these today and couldn't let them cool without taking a bite. They were very good. There was just enough cinnamon -- enough to taste it, but not enough to overwhelm the chocolate. I forgot to wait before I put on the sugary topping and they came out fine.

We loved this recipe. Very chocolaty with a definite homemade taste. The crust made it unusual and good. The cinnamon in the 3 layers made it live up to it's Mexican name.

These are a big hit in our house. Rich and delicious. My husband said "there are LAYERS of flavor!" I liked the crust. I did crush the cereal finely in the food processer. These brownies have my vote.

These sounded like a good idea, but the cereal crust was weird tasting. We ended up throwing the rest out. Not a winner.
