I haven't made a "from scratch" cake in quite a while. This one was pretty tasty. I accidently bought regular condensed milk, but it turned out fine. I woold say that it made the icing more like a vanilla flavor. Kids loved it!!

My first cake and a great learning experience. I would say I didn't up liking the cinnamon, but since that's what makes a Mexican chocolate cake, not too shabby!

This is a great recipe for those looking to start cooking from scratch again! It is simple to put together, easy to tweek, and is delicious. Follow the recipe and your cake will be moist. Tip: I recommend that you line your pan with wax paper as suggested. This keeps your edges from coming out hard. Enjoy!
