I used an entire meatball, doubled the cheese, and used half of the biscuit. My family loved it that way. In fact I have to now make them for the soccer ending season party and the high school graduation dinner.

Made these with high hopes. What a let down. Not enough meat and cheese and they seemed very doughey.

Made these using full size Grands flaky biscuits & 1 oz. meatballs. Cut each piece of string cheese into 4 pieces. Brushed tops with a butter, pizza seasoning, garlic mix, then sprinkled with parmesan cheese before baking. After they were done, I brushed the tops again with melted butter. These were fantastic! My husband is taking the leftovers to work for lunch. Using the full size Grands, it made 16 biscuits.
These would made great appetizers. Will definitely make again.

Just made these and they are delicious! Instead of cutting the string cheese into pieces, we pulled into "strings" and wrapped the string around the meatball. This took 3 sticks of sting cheese. We also followed an earlier suggestion and poured garlic butter over before baking. A great Sunday afternoon snack!!

We LOVE the idea of these! I tweak it using the following substitutions:
* fresh mozzarella balls - cut into tiny rectangles
* frozen turkey meatballs - thawed overnight in refrigerator.
* HAVE used Grands (yummy), but also use fresh pizza dough or frozen dough (grocery brand or Schwan's) - after letting rise.
* Watkin's Pizza Seasoning or Pampered Chef (or Watkins) Italian seasoning
* Freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
I bake as individual balls - and serve with sauce. Sooooo yummy & filling too.

Big Hit! I tweaked it a little bit. I used shredded mozarella because that was all i had on hand. After all of the wrapped meatballs were in my baking dish, I poured some melted garlic butter over everything and then sprinkled all of the seasoning using extra garlic. I served it with spaghetti noodles and spaghetti sauce. It was great.

I made these last night and WOW super easy!!! I took the advice of many and doubled the cheese. I will next time make sure to put the cheese on TOP of the meatball inside the dough that way it will melt all over (I had a piece on either side). I also did NOT cut the 1/2 oz meatballs in half and very happy about that decision.
My son took them to school for lunch the next day!!! This will DEFINITELY be a repeat recipe in my house. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SHAWNIE419 for this recipe!

Made this on Christmas Eve as a part of our appetizer spread. This recipe was a HIT! Plenty of flexibility to change up the cheese you use. We used double the string cheese as the recipe called for. Pizza sauce for dipping! We'll make as often as we can.
