Tips & Tricks
Of all the meals in a day, dinner leaves the most room for interpretation. Just about anything goes! From thick grilled steaks to light leafy lettuce salad, dinner can be just about anything you want it to be.
With a bit of forethought, dinner can be delicious and easy:
- Breakfast selections make great dinner ideas! Try ham and broccoli quiche, for example, served with a fresh salad on the side.
- Remember your slow cooker! When time is short during the week, toss a meal together in minutes, then let the slow cooker do the rest of the work. You'll come home at dinner time to a waiting meal!
- Combine ingredients for several meals. For example, brown ground beef in bulk, using some for tonight's tacos and freezing the rest for an easy casserole later in the week.
- Use shortcuts to cut time and effort. Pillsbury® refrigerated pizza dough, biscuit dough and crescent dough let you kick-start delicious recipes with ease.
