Marmalade Ice Cream Sauce

Cream sherry gives this textured sauce warmth and depth of flavor. Serve it warm over ice cream or cheesecake.

(10-oz.) jar orange marmalade

tablespoons margarine or butter

tablespoons dried currants

tablespoons slivered almonds

tablespoon cream sherry
  • 1 In small saucepan, combine marmalade and margarine. Cook over low heat until mixture is melted and warm, stirring constantly.
  • 2 Remove from heat; stir in currants, almonds and sherry. Serve warm.
