Whenever I make a meatloaf, I sprinkle on a little brown sugar and top it off with a drizzle of barbeque sauce before baking. I find this gives it a great taste without being too sweet.

I have used this recipe many times and my family really enjoys it. I have found that the Glaze is WAY too sweet, so instead of adding the Syrup, I just glaze it with a cup of straight ketchup. I was also considering doing one and glazing it with BBQ Sauce, but not ready to take that chance.

Years ago I used to received the paperback Pillsbury Cookbooks in the mail. I made this meatloaf many times and loved it. Awesome recipe.

My husband and I LOVE this recipe!! He asks for it all the time. I sometimes play with it, we have found that we like to add green peppers to it. It will be a recipe that I make monthly!!
