*ugh. Not REAL good guys. First off (I followed the recipe exactly) big mistake. The bread part was pretty raw, the bacon was really great (I used extra) the sauce was okay.... but the combination was terrible. You could use this sauce for like a ham or something but not on this bread. Agree with "shoegirlie" no pepper needed.

Overall, this was very tasty, everybody loved it ... However, I would change the recipe a little bit to add 1/4-1/3 cup butter and only let it stand out of the oven for 1 min, rather than the 5 min the recipe recommends ... ours fell apart coming out of the pan since the bottom had cooled too much and the ooey gooey goodness turned into glue .... I kind of had a feeling that 5 min was too long, but wanted to follow the directions so I went with it ... It was still good nonetheless, just not really pretty ;)

Next time I will leave out the pepper. Other than that it was great!

Even though I don't use inappropriate language, it told me to revise so: Great recipe, famiily loves it, will do regularly. Site's autobot needs revision.

Sounded great, thought I'd try it. Made 1/2 batch for hubby and me. YUMMY!
