cans (14 oz each) chicken broth

can (15 oz) cannellini beans, drained, rinsed

can (8 oz) no-salt-added tomato sauce

cup chopped fresh parsley or 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

teaspoon dried oregano leaves

teaspoon dried basil leaves

  • 1 In 4-quart nonstick saucepan or Dutch oven, heat water to boiling over medium-high heat. Add onions; cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add potatoes, carrot, celery, bell pepper and garlic; cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling.
  • 2 Reduce heat; simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes and pasta are tender.

This Is one of my family's favorites. It's so low fat and healthy. I add a can of diced tomatoes, some string beans, and a dash of hot sauce. You could add any veggies you like. Even my young kids love it!
