Stouffer's makes a side dish called Escalloped Apples - if the store carries them they will in the frozen foods section with along with the Stouffer's meals. If you have a Honey Baked Ham store in your area, they also sell a frozen apple side dish.
This sounds really good! Will have to give it a try.

haven't made these yet- to anyone that has, would the canned apple filling work if you chop them up into small pieces and then make as it says? It sounds heavenly- and I believe to the others that asked- you use 1 sheet and fold over- so you're making 2 if you use the whole box-is what I'm interpreting the recipe as?

VeronicaJ3: The way I read it, you're using 1 folding it.

I read the recipe, but I don't understand the foldover process. Am I useing 1 crust and folding it in half or am I using 2 crusts and sealing the edges? Please advise. I would love to try this recipe asap.
