We also make these at Easter and call them Resurrection Rolls to represent the empty tomb of Christ. Adding pastel coloring to icing makes a nice spring touch.

I also have been making these for years. I still have the book that featured the winners from that year. this newer version uses nuts which is a nice addition. They are the best and really quite easy.

My family has been using this recipe since Edna Walker won the Bake-off in 1969. We make the rolls every Thanksgiving and Christmas as a family tradition. They are sooooo wonderful and yummy. Your friends will be amazed at the hollow center. I can't imagine a Thanksgiving dinner without these!!
