Macaroni and Cheese Goulash

Ingredients

lb. lean ground beef
1/2
cup chopped onion

(14-oz.) jar tomato pasta sauce
1
cup water

(7.25-oz.) pkg. macaroni and cheese dinner
1
(4.5-oz.) jar Green Giant™ Sliced Mushrooms, drained
2
oz. (1/2 cup) finely shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. 1 In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
  2. 2 Add pasta sauce and water; mix well. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni from dinner. Return to a boil. Cover; cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until macaroni is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3 Stir in cheese powder from dinner; mix well. Stir in mushrooms. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese; cover and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
