The boys say it's a keeper!! I doubled the dry seasonings except for the red pepper. Also added 1/2 can of cream of chicken to thicken, as someone else mentioned; plus 1 teaspoon of season salt. Will definitely try again!!!!

This was good. I found that if you omit the crushed red pepper and add 1 tsp. hot sauce(Franks Red Hot) more to taste if you like the heat and I sprinkled with with blue cheese once plated. Have not tried with black eyed peas only garb. beans.

This receipe is YUMM-Y!! It took me more like an hour with all the chopping - you have to chop the chicken, bacon, green pepper, and onion. Also, my chicken would not "brown" as the recipe says, but that really isn't necessary. You could always brown the chicken in a bit of oil first and add in at the end w/ the noodles I would suspect. But nonetheless...it was EASY and so delicious.
Best part?! My 7 year old son had 2 helpings!! I'm eating leftovers for lunch today =)

Added Cream of Chicken to the mixture to thicken up the sauce and add some needed flavor. This is a quick easy and tasty meal.
