I made these for my aunt and myself. They were real easy and very tasty. I will do this again for my grandchildren.

If you want it to taste like cake I would suggest looking for a recipe that calls for a cake mix not biscuits. This is for a short cut substitute. There are many recipes out there for Pineapple Upside Down Cake but I doubt you will find one that will make just 2 servings.

Thanks to all the reviewers. Good stuff here. Frankly, I would not make this because biscuits do not taste like cake. I love pineapple upside-down cake, but I would hate it if the cake part didn't taste like cake. When I make PUDC, it'll be with cake mix, not biscuits.

Since I love pineapple upside down cake and it's not my husband's favorite, I tried this so I would not have so much left. It was delicious. Even my husband liked it. I will make again for sure.

My husband and I have been making these for a couple years now and love them each and every time. Just enough for a nice dessert for 2.

This is great! I put this dessert together just before taking a meatloaf out of the oven. Meatloaf out--dessert in. It baked while we ate and it was ready to eat when we felt like dessert. I didn't have any whipped topping so we ate it as was. Now my husband wants to try it with whipped topping. It would be good with ice-cream, too.

this is a go-to in my house. For a crowd I use the Grands in the tube (not frozen). I melt some butter and brown sugar in 9x13 pan, add pineapple and cherries and heat in oven until very hot. top with biscuits, brush with pineapple juice and sprinkle with sugar and bake. I serve as sweet rolls for breakfast or add whipped or ice cream for dessert. I add pecans too.

I didn't like the taste of the biscuit taste with the pinapple. My kids wouldn't touch it and they love my pineapple upside down cake that I make from scratch. Not recommended and will not try again. Sounded like a great easy way to make pineapple upside down cake though.
