cups uncooked yolk-free wide egg noodles (8 oz)

lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef

cup chopped onion

oz fresh mushrooms, halved

clove garlic, finely chopped

teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper

can (10 3/4 oz) condensed 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup
1
container (8 oz) reduced-fat sour cream
2
tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  • 3 Stir in onion, mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium. Cover; cook 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  • 4 Stir in soup and sour cream. Cook, stirring occasionally, until hot. Serve over cooked noodles. Sprinkle with parsley.

This sounds like it would be good and easy to cook. The two things that is going to get me to cook this is the LOW FAT AND SUGAR !!!!

Very yummy. Fast and easy. My 18m old is a VERY picky eater and she loved it. I am going to try the tip about the spinach next time :)

Wow...this was so easy and very flavorful! I have now ended my search for a great stroganoff recipe. My boyfriend and I love garlic so I added a little more of that and another nice touch is fresh spinach which I added at the very end so it didn't cook down too much. This recipe is a must for everyone!! :-)

AWESOME!! We LOVE this recipe so much it has become a staple in our home! My kids are not big mushroom fans so we omitted them. So yummy, so easy, and low fat!! Awesome !!

needed something light, easy & fast during little league season. this was great, even picky grandkids liked it, onions & all. serve with steamed broccoli or green beans, oh yeah & apple sauce.
