This was very good. I added some very dry chicken breasts that we had grilled and frozen spinach (because my husband only likes broccoli raw.) It was a definite hit at my house. This is one recipe that I'll be making again.

I agree with eboz. I use this site for ideas. If I think it's a not so healthy recipe, I substitute things that are. But by and large, I like what I read here and get good ideas from other posters.
If this doesn't meet your needs, go someplace else that does.

I've written this at least 200 times - I use this website for ideas and as a GUIDELINE. If I don't like the fat content, the sodium, or anything, I substitute! Use fat-free products! Use salt substitute! Use different veggies! Whatever! Tailor it to make it fit what you need/want! I can't understand why, if people don't like what is on this website, they continue to stay here and go from recipe to recipe continually complaining about them!

I prepared this exactly by recipe. It was very bland, had no taste to it. Will not fix again.

Yummy alternative to traditional mac and cheese! I added chicken and substituted a bag of mixed veggies instead of shredded carrots and it was great!

I added smoked sausage wienies to make it a main course. My husband hates veggies & isn't big on alfredo sauce so he took maybe a half cup worth of the casserole & 4 crescents. He took one bite, put back 3 of the crescents & filled his plate...then had seconds! Amazing! He even took leftovers for lunch today-never does that either! This stuff must be magical!
