Lemon Truffle Pie

Savor each forkful of this smooth, light-yet-rich dessert. Lemon juice and lemon peel provide a bright bit of tartness to balance the sweet filling.

I was searching for a creamy, light, lemon pie, and this wasn't. We liked the lemon curd topping, but the cream cheese, white chocolate, lemon mixture was too heavy, and too sweet. For all the time, ingredients, and the bowls, pots and utensils I washed, I expected something this side of great, it just wasn't. I'll stick to my home made lemon meringue pie.

I made this for Easter 2010. Overall, my family liked it. However, the gel on top was soupy and the white chocolate was a bit overwhelming. We'll definitely make this again but maybe use 2 packages of cream cheese and no white chocolate to make it more like a lemon cheesecake and maybe add more cornstarch to the gel to firm it up.

I made this pie for Easter and it got many compliments. The top lemon filling was a bit softer than I would have liked, but not enough to take away anything. It is not difficult to make, but there are many steps. It helped to have all the ingredients measured and set out.

After reading the reviews, I made this for the first time this Easter and will make it again. Although I don't like white chocolate, I still enjoyed this recipe. I didn't think it was too tart as others have said nor did I have trouble with it setting up. It is a bit time consuming but that's what you do for special dinners.

This recipe was really really good! I used bottled juice and did not add the zest and it still turned out great! I will definately be making again!

I made this pie for Christmas dessert and it was a total hit! This pie, hands down, is the best lemon pie that I've ever made. You would never know that there were white chocolate chips in this wonderful pie! Thanks Pillsbury for a great recipe!

I have made 4 of these pies in four days!!! The first two were lemon and last night I tried it with orange juice and orange zest. I was hoping for a "dreamsicle" taste but It didn't quite work out. It's good just not as good as the lemon. Maybe a few teaspoons of vanilla extract would have been better. I think it would be DIVINE with limes. It is the best lemon pie I have EVER had.
