1 - Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers Buttermilk Refrigerated Biscuits 16.3 oz (8 ct)
1 1/2
pound boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
3
cups fresh MatchStick carrots
1/4
cup instant mash potato flakes

  • 1 In 12-inch skillet bring teabags and 5 cups hot tap water, covered, to boil over high heat.
  • 2 Meanwhile, rinse and cut chicken tenderloins into thirds.
  • 3 Add chicken to boiling water. Stir to separate. Cover; return to boil.
  • 4 Remove each teabag. Squeeze each teabag between two spoons to return absorbed tea back into skillet.
  • 5 Sprinkle potato flakes into skillet for thickener. Stir lightly. Cover; continue to boil.
  • 6 Add carrots. Sir lightly. Cover; continue to boil.
  • 7 Meanwhile, center-slice loaf of raw biscuits in half. Turn loaf; center-slice loaf into fourths.
  • 8 Separate dough; drop into skillet. Cover; boil 7 minutes. Tiny air pockets will dot top of dough.
  • 9 Uncover; stir just to separate and turn dumplings over. Cover; continue to boil another 6 minutes.
  • 10 Remove from heat. Stir well. Ladle hot, delicious chicken and dumplings into bowls. Enjoy!

This is a delicious and fast AND healthy recipe. The tea adds healthy antioxidants! I would add salt and pepper to taste.

*Prep time is removing tags from teabags. All other prep is done before each step and is part of total cooking time. *Cut dough into smaller pieces if desired. *Mixture will thicken after removed from heat. *Savor your meal! You have plenty of time to clean work surface and utensils while dumplings cook.
