Made this with a few changes. Used 1/2 of the muffin mix, and put the batter in a tube pan. Did not use the oil or egg. A little applesauce could be added to replace the oil. Spread the jam over the top. To the rest of the muffin mix, added 6 oz. 1/3 less fat cream cheese and the sugar. We like a crunchy topping. It was good.

This is one of my husband's all-time favorites! He fights over the last piece with my teens! It is simple to make and better the next day, if you have any left.
