Has anyone substituted lemon pie filling (cooked and cooled) for the lemon layer?

We love this pie. Ive made it 3 times now. First time as the recipe shows, next two with a graham cracker crust and a little more lemon. We like it that way better. Great pie and easy too!

Absolutely delicious! The cream cheese filling was so creamy. And the lemon topping so lemony. Loved it. Will definately make again.

Sorry Tanya, I thought of one more thing. Did you use a glass pie pan. I hope these ideas were of some help.

Hi TanyaRiddle, are you sure you used a 9" pie pan? The only other thing I could think of is to check the temperature accuracy of your oven.

What did I do wrong?? I loved the flavours and it was super easy to make, but it totally made a mess in my oven, over bubbled and wasn't very appealing "looking". Once it cooled it looked better and wasn't burned or anything... any suggestions because it sure is a recipe I would make over and over if I mastered it :)

This pie was spectacular! My friends and family devoured it and I felt like the pie queen for having made it :D
