I think that if you used toasted pecans, chopped in the crust part it would solve the hard chip problem.

I followed the directions but doubled the lemon curd, served with blueberries and liked it so much I am planning on making it again for a dinner party this weekend.

bakesoften; I apologize that the tart did not come out. Some suggestion may be to bake it for the lesser time so the chips don't brown so much. They will on the outer edge, but no in the middle. It sounds like you may have used lemon pie filling instead of curd. Curd is very thick and should not run at all. I am sorry you had a bad experience. Take care and have fun in other baking adventures!

I wasn't happy with the outcome. The chips were like rocks and didn't belong in the crust that was like concrete. The Lemon Curd ran out of the crust when cut and had a bitter bite to it. I followed the directions to the letter and was disappointed

Easy to make from start to finish. The taste is as good as it looks. Will definitely make it again.

Love this, although I used two small jars of Lemon curd. It would be good with lemon and lime mixed also. You could use any kind of jam you liked also. Great versatile recipe.
