The picture that is with this recipe is not correct the recipe is in a pie plate not rolls...just FYI

Anyone who bakes knows almond paste is a staple in danish and exists in the baking aisle. Lard has been used for centuries and makes the best flakiest crust.

The pinwheels look delicious. Unfortunately, the pie crust has LARD in it. I hope they change their recipe to something healthier. The almond paste is in what grocery department.

It is irritating that the recipe and the photo do not match. I like the website and many of the recipes, but the photo makes the recipe look simpler than it is.
