This was marvelous after making a few minor adjustments. I used mild cheddar instead of Swiss, & made a homemade pie crust.

Classic but well done Lovely brunch dish; the leek are a nice change from onions and shine in his quiche.

doughgirlmn: since the recipe calls for cooking the quiche for a minimum of 30 minutes (10 minutes then cover the crust and bake for 20-25 more) did you mean that you cooked it for a total of 23 minutes or 23 after the initial 10 for a total of 33 (which you now recommend 38)?

Quiche was yummy and really easy to make. My pie crust was almost overflowing - very full. I would recommend baking it a little bit longer than indicated. I baked about 23 minutes, but probably should have kept it in the oven for 5 more minutes. It was a little soft, but flavors were very nice.
