Ingredients

oz. (2 1/2 cups) uncooked medium egg noodles

lb. ground turkey

(15-oz.) can tomato sauce

(6-oz.) can tomato paste
1
teaspoon sugar
1
teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/8
teaspoon pepper

(8-oz.) pkg. 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel), softened
1/2
cup light sour cream
3
tablespoons skim milk

tablespoons finely chopped onion

(9-oz.) pkg. frozen spinach in a pouch, thawed, squeezed to drain*

Directions

  1. 1 Cook noodles to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with hot water.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat oven to 350°F. In large skillet, cook ground turkey until no longer pink. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, basil, garlic powder, oregano and pepper. Stir in cooked noodles.
  3. 3 In medium bowl, combine cheese, sour cream, milk and onion; beat until smooth.
  4. 4 Spoon 1/2 the noodle mixture into ungreased 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish. Top evenly with cheese mixture. Spoon spinach evenly over cheese mixture; top with remaining noodle mixture.
  5. 5 Bake at 350°F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
