container (8 ounces) sharp Cheddar cold-pack cheese spread
1/2
cup chopped fresh mushrooms

container (8 ounces) soft cream cheese with garden vegetables
1/4
cup chopped fresh basil leaves

container (8 ounces) Swiss-almond cold-pack cheese spread
1/4
cup chopped red and/or yellow bell peppers
1/4
cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 Spread Cheddar cheese into 5-inch round, about 1/2 inch thick, on serving platter; smooth side and top with small metal spatula. Sprinkle mushrooms over cheese; press lightly.
  • 2 Spread cream cheese over mushrooms; smooth side and top. Sprinkle with basil; press lightly.
  • 3 Top with Swiss-almond cheese; smooth side and top. Sprinkle bell peppers over top. Press parsley into side. Serve with crackers.

You can use any flavor of cold-pack cheese and combine with any flavor of soft cream cheese.

This pretty layered spread can be served with crisp crackers, bagel sticks or chips, small cocktail breads, baguette slices or cracker bread.

Go ahead and assemble this layered spread up to 2 hours in advance. Place the appetizer on your serving plate. Wrap carefully with plastic wrap to tote to your destination. Surround with your choice of crackers or breads just before serving.
