Ingredients

Crescent Rolls
Basil Pesto (3-4 oz)
Finely Shredded Low Moisture Mozzarella

  • 1 Unroll Crescent Rolls and separate according to the package directions.
  • 2 Add a forkful of pesto to the larger part of each roll, pulling towards the narrow end. Don't overload.
  • 3 Add some of the shredded mozzarella (to taste). Low moisture mozzarella works best.
  • 4 Carefully roll the crescents according to the package directions. You'll need to roll loosely and pinch the edges- they don't have to seal, but keep as much of the stuffing inside as possible.
  • 5 Bake the crescents according to the package directions.

Makes your rolls a little different and special. You don't need much pesto. I didn't have mozzarella so I used goat cheese, which was delicious. You could try other cheeses, too.

AWESOME recipe! I could not believe how easy these were to make! You literally just scoop 2 ingredients inside, and bake. Quick and delicious; the whole family enjoyed these stuffed crescents. Will make again and again. I'd like to try adding a few more ingredients--maybe cubed chicken? Marinara sauce? Ham? Please submit more recipes soon, Josgal!
