Jalapeño Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients

(8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese

(1-inch) piece cinnamon stick
1/2
cup jalapeño jelly
1
(1-inch) square red bell pepper, if desired
2
tablespoons dairy sour cream, if desired

  • 1 Cut cream cheese in half diagonally. Turn 1 piece over and arrange both pieces on small serving plate with long straight sides touching to form triangular "tree." Place cinnamon stick in center of bottom edge to form "trunk."
  • 2 Just before serving, spoon jelly over tree, allowing some to flow down sides to plate. Using 1-inch star canape cutter, cut star from bell pepper square; place at top of tree. Pipe sour cream diagonally across tree to form garland. Serve with crackers.
