Italian-Style Chicken Patties

A popular Italian dish, Chicken Parmigiana, can be easily imitated by combining two great-tasting convenience products: pasta sauce and breaded chicken patties. Serve this with a tossed green salad and garlic toast to make the meal complete.

package (12 oz) frozen breaded chicken breast patties

slices (4x4-inch) mozzarella cheese, cut in half

jar (14 oz) tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 Bake chicken patties as directed on package. Place cheese slice on each patty. Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in 1-quart saucepan, heat pasta sauce over low heat, stirring occasionally. To serve, spoon warm sauce over each patty.
