I've used the pizza dough but it seems to rip before you even get it out of the package,otherwise..I use ham,pepperoni,& pizza cheese for me mine!

I tried this with the French bread and could not get the dough "unrolled" I did see the seam but could not separate it. I think I will use the pizza dough next time.

Re: PeglegJones,The French Loaf does have a seam where you can unroll it. I have used it for pepperoni rolls. For this recipe I think I will add sandwich pepperoni, Sargentos mozzarella/provolone slices and some thinly sliced onion and a layer of sliced plum tomatoes.

What I want to know is gow do you unroll the dough when it is in loaf form? Seems this should call for pizza dough, not the french loaf.
