To make ahead, prepare and layer the ingredients, cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. To heat, uncover and bake lasagna as directed, adding 5 to 10 minutes to the baking time.

I have a problem with riccota and cottage cheese. Therefore, I am making this an all meat filling. The natural type cheese like mozzarella will go on the top. I always made it this way for my family. They really liked it.

This was my first time making lasagna and it came out ok. But, I guess I'm use to a little more sauce and flavor in my lasagna. Next time around, I think I will add some tomato sauce meat mixture and do more sausage and leave out the beef. :)

Great lasagna! I will be making this again. My husband said it was better than what his mom use to prepare which is a lot coming from him because he usually doesn't like anything that his mom didn't do. He is polite but hard to please and he liked this lasagna.

This was the first lasagna I have ever attempted. The words
"easy, simple, and delicious" prompted me to squash my fears of a kitchen disaster and attempt it. The recipe was more involved than many other ones I have tried, but it wasn't so difficult that I felt I couldn't finish. Overall, I think this was a great recipe and turned out delicious.
