Expert Tips

Fragrant basil partners with tomatoes in many a Mediterranean-inspired dish. If you have a pot of it growing in or just outside your home, you will find yourself using it often, both as a seasoning and a garnish.

Always refrigerate or freeze perishables (such as raw meat and fish), deli foods and leftovers (like this high-protein entree) within 2 hours of preparing or purchase.

Round out your dinner with fluffy rice or pasta to soak up the savory juice and an antipasto tray with olives, marinated artichokes, cheese cubes, etc.
