This recipe looked absolutely perfect for a casual dinner with girlfriends, and the biscuits smelled heavenly while they were cooking. Unfortunately it did not taste nearly as good as it looked. The eggs were runny, despite the fact that I had used only about 2/3 of the egg mixture (since it would have overflowed out of my casserole dish otherwise). The texture of the strata was almost rubbery, and it was very bland, even though I had added 1/2 tsp salt. Very disappointing!!
