Not bad but not great. I needed more sugar mix and it was a litle dry, not oozing like the photo. Perhaps If you pour the rest of the chocolate sauce over it when its on the plate?

Just looking at this picture makes one want to try it which I most certainly did. I have to say that it was quite messy to make but the end result was over-the-top chocolate goodness! My family went crazy for it and everyone took the recipe. If you are not a chocolate lover, this is not for you!

This recipe came out perfect - super good! It seems some reviewers here didn't like it-the only thing I can think of is that either they failed somewhere in the process or they aren't huge chocolate fans. I found that if every step isn't followed exactly-it doesn't taste great, the first time I made this I eyeballed everything(which I know better when baking)instead of measuring and it was not that good so the next time I made sure to be exact and it was awesome. Also, everyone has different taste levels, some like desserts sweet, some less sweet so there will be differences of opinion.

Not that great. In fact, truly nauseating!

Made this for Palm Sunday. We did not think it was that good. Too bready, too messy, and not really chocolatey. I do like the cocoa sugar, will use that in place of cinnamon sugar on toast, but other than that I would not make this again. I will stick to the original recipe.

made this today, it was ok, looked just like the picture. I coated my biscuits with the sugar mixture and poured the chocolate marshmallow mixture over. If I made this again I think I would just use regular biscuits and not grands. Each piece was just a little too bready. Think I still like the traditional cinnamon monkey bread best.

If you're a chocolate lover, this is the monkey bread for you. Very rich, but very good
