I haven't made this yet but it looks so good I am going to try it. The fat calories are out of control so I am going to try to cut the fat in it by modifying some of the ingredients. I will let you know how it turns out and what modifications I made!

Have not made this recipe but I'm curious as to why EAlmquist's nutritional breakdown is so far from that provided with the recipe. If the salad actually provided 59 grams of fat, that would be 531 Kcals from fat alone. Something not adding up.

If you're looking for a salad because "salads are healthy", skip this one! One serving is over 500 calories, and contains 59 grams of fat! (Owe that to about 38g from the bacon, 3+g from the olive oil, 8g from the prepared pasta salad, and 10g fat from the blue cheese.) It may be delicious, but is it worth it?
