Hallo!
A few of you had mentioned about the sodium and fat. Perhaps you could use Canadian Bacon,or no nitrite bacon, low fat,low salt even try turkey bacon. For the blue cheese, I use low fat feta cheese. We like it! I am sure a lot of you have better ideas but I thought I would share a few of my ideas with you.
Wishing you Peace

I tried this and it was pretty popular..one person ate most of it and I managed to get some...I would make it again..
I dont understand why people that are making nutritional comments even looked on Pillsbury for recipes. There are websites out there for healthy, low sodium, weight watchers etc that will provide what you are apparently looking for. I do not expect recipes on Pillsbury (or other sites like it) to be healthy and when I do have them they are in moderation.I would suggest you try sites specific to your needs instead of commenting on recipes you didnt even try.IMHO.

This sounds super yummy and looks even better!!! If you are trying to eat healthy, this probably is not your best option. But who says you have to eat THE WHOLE SERVING SIZE? I dont know what the serving size says, but why couldn't you just eat 1/4 Cup? If you aren't eating it everyday in large amounts, GO FOR IT!

Yep, everything from hotdogs to hair dryers is gonna kill you--newsflash: you're not getting off this blue marble alive as you know it. I do love the phrase "meat candy" to describe bacon and will use it extensively. Thank you!

Made this salad about a week ago and am now addicted! I made it again for a Memorial Day picnic and it was a HUGE hit. I've shared the recipe on facebook and via email with friends and family. MMMMMMMM

Forget about the fat, what about the sodium at over 1500, I could not even consider this recipe. How can you reduce the salt?

It amazes me after looking at the recipe that people are complaining about the fat content. Pasta salad is not a "salad" salad, and never has pasta been sold as being healthy anyway. And bacon? Altough straight saturated fat, it's meat candy and makes EVERYTHING taste even better! This recipe looks like a delicious "treat" and I would LOVE to try it sometime.
