I mixed all the ingredients in a bowl and marinated my thighs in it for several hours. My husband grilled them on the upper rack of our grill and they were delicious! I dislike anything with a strong soy sauce flavor, and really enjoyed the chicken! If I had to compare the flavor to something else, it would have to be Bourbon chicken from the mall food court only way better!

I haven't tried this recipe yet (can't wait), but I am compelled to suggest highly that this honey sauce NOT be used as a marinade, stick with it as a sauce as it will without a doubt cause those lovely chicken thighs to become charcoal briquettes. Any and all sauces including tomato based sauces, with high sugars WILL burn long before the chicken is ready. If brushing isn't good try dunking, that what I do and will do tonight!!! ;>

The sauce was good, but it didn't stay on the chicken. I may try using it as a marinade next time.

Not bad, I was hoping for a little more taste. The sauce wouldn't stay on the chicken,my side was house salad, good combination.

If you've never tried soba noodles look them up because they would make a nice refreshing starch as a side for this recipe.

Iceberg lettuce dressed simply with rice vinegar makes a fresh salad in keeping with the asian ingredients. It is low in calories but extremely fresh tasting for hot days.
