Ingredients

lb. fresh green beans, trimmed, halved crosswise

cup frozen small whole onions

tablespoons butter

red bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch-wide strips

garlic clove, minced
1
teaspoon chopped fresh thyme or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/8
teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. 1 In medium saucepan, combine green beans and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes. Drain.
  2. 2 In large skillet, combine cooked beans and all remaining ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
