I made this for my co-workers and they enjoyed it immensely. I prepared it as directed and it came out beautifully! I will definitely be making this again, but this time for my family.

I can't believe this doesn't have more stars - I made this for Christmas morning and for several shower brunches. Everytime i take it somewhere people want the recipe. It is always a big hit. We fed our teachers at school this breakfast casserole one morning and they were all raving and the kids were mad because they couldn't come back for seconds. Easy and delicious!! Always cooks up perfectly!

Sorry about the double post. For me, it is hard to tell if the first one goes through.

I love breakfast casseroles, and this one in particular looks awesome! I'm looking forward to trying this recipe with my dehydrated peppers & onions (rehydrated, of course) from my long-term food storage.
Be prepared! Always store what you eat, and eat what you store.

I have been making this casserole for 20 years & have added my own changes. I thaw 3/4 frozen bag of shredded potatoes in the microwave, adding it to the sausage, onions & peppers. I break up 2-3 slices of bread to the same mixture. Just recently, I began using the pre-cooked sausage instead of cooking the sausage myself(cuts the prep time). Additionally, I add 1 tablespoon dry mustard. Pour egg mixture over & refridgerate over night. I serve the biscuits on the side. This year I'll add the French Toast Bake to the Christmas morning menu. I'm sure it will be a hit!!

This recipe is so delicious and simple that my college student son tried it. My husband raves about it. Very easy to prepare and great for serving when you have guests for breakfast. Will certainly make again!

Made this twice and everyone loved it - even the kids who don't eat peppers or onions asked for 2nd helpings. It has a good presentation on the table. Very good.

Made this the night before and cooked it in the Am and took it to work to share with everyone. It was a big hit and I was asked for the recipe. Would make again for sure

Jimmy Dean Hearty Sausage Crumbles made this recipe EXTRA simple! Precooked, turkey, spicy or regular sausage.....just throw it in and voila! Really speeds up the recipe!

We made this Christmas morning and everyone LOVED it!! We used a little more egg than the recipe called for and it was PERFECT! I have already made it again for dinner. I can't wait to change it up a little.......ham, cheese and broccoli or maybe a southwestern take on it next time? Fabulous recipe that will be in our family for many years to come! Thank you Pillsbury!!
