This was great made it for july4th, didn't have any pie crust so I used vanilla cake mix . Made 2 cakes
Cooled them, scooped out the centers and added the fruit. I did pour the cooled off sugar
Jello mix over the fruits first and then scooped it into the center of the cakes. I poured the remaining liquid over
Everything and chilled it for about 2 hours. What a hit
I will definitely serve this again.

I submitted this rec and won 1st place at the Oklahoma State Fair. I also make it with 1 1/2 Cup water, 3/4 C. Splenda blend, 2 Tbsp. corn starch, cook 2 min., add 1 small box sugar free jello. Our Dr.'s all agree, it the most "legal" pie for my husband, who is a heart patient and also diabetic.
Sorry some think it is "lethal"? Janie Dupler, Lawton, OK

How in the world do people make crusts that beautiful? Is there a trick or tool to make the edge of crusts look that perfect?
