Ingredients

oz. (about 5 cups) rigatoni (pasta tubes with ridges), ziti (long tubular pasta), or large elbow macaroni

tablespoons all-purpose flour

tablespoon spicy brown mustard

teaspoons dried basil leaves

teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2
cups skim milk

oz. (1 1/2 cups) shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese

tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. 1 Cook rigatoni to desired doneness as directed on package.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in large nonstick saucepan, combine flour, mustard, basil and garlic powder. Gradually stir in milk with wire whisk. Cook and stir over medium-high heat for about 4 minutes or until bubbly and thickened. Reduce heat to low; stir in Cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted.
  3. 3 Drain rigatoni. Stir into cheese sauce until well mixed.
